On February 14th, a shooter abruptly ended the lives of 17 innocents students and teachers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL.
The survivors are determined to make this the last mass shooting in the United States, standing up to politicians who accept donations from the National Rifle Association (NRA) during and after their campaigns.
The president has refused to attend a town hall with the survivors and their families. Marco Rubio who has come under fire for accepting donations from the NRA has confirmed that he will be in attendance.
On March 24th, marches will be held around the world to protest the U.S.'s weak gun laws, including the executive order put into place by President Barack Obama that was reversed in February 2017 by President Trump. Everyone needs to participate, from students to parents, who are fed up with worrying about going to school or the park. Like and follow March For Our Lives on Facebook for more information about marches in your city.
